"The Wa people sing songs and feast their guests with their special porridge." Walking into Wa Mountain in Ximeng used to be my wish for a long time. After more than a month, I've finally finished this year's Annual Pig Feast. The pork has to be cured and air-dried, so it took me a little longer to make this episode. In Tai'an, under Yulong Snow Mountain in Lijiang, there are vast areas of quinoa that ripen in December every year. From a distance, it looks like lavender. With a gust of wind, the pink flowers on the quinoa flutter. I rarely go to Lijiang, so I'm definitely going to bring back some quinoa. After the Map Feast and the Pig Meal, for me, nothing is better than meat dishes that I had these days. So I asked my family what they would like for the reunion dinner. It was Achun who ordered pig feet in sour soup, saying how he missed the dish cooked by the restaurant next to the entrance of the campus. Also, my family is fond of hotpot.
